Privacy Choices
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Memoraft gives you direct controls for local data, advertising consent, device advertising permissions, optional usage analytics in enabled iOS or Android builds, and privacy requests. Analytics and advertising choices are separate.
Delete learning data
In the app, open the Settings tab, expand Account, and select Reset all data. This deletes local decks, cards, progress, quests, and energy state; resets the theme; and keeps your selected language and completed-onboarding preference. Uninstalling the app also removes local app data, subject to your device backup settings.
In builds with usage analytics, Reset all data also clears your analytics preference and identifier and stops collection. Resetting or uninstalling does not delete events already received by PostHog. Copy your Analytics ID before resetting or uninstalling if you want to request deletion of those events.
Optional usage analytics
In enabled iOS or Android builds, open Settings > Privacy & support > Share usage analytics. Analytics is off until you choose to allow it. You may decline without losing learning or Pro features. If this control is absent, this PostHog integration is not enabled in your build; this does not change the separate advertising or subscription services described in the Privacy Policy.
Turning the switch off stops future analytics collection and discards pending on-device events. Already received events are not automatically erased. Your previous Analytics ID remains visible locally for privacy requests. Enabling analytics again creates a new identifier, so save the previous one if needed.
For access or deletion, email support@memoraft.io with the subject "Memoraft Analytics Privacy Request" and the Analytics ID displayed in the app. Include earlier IDs if you saved them. Do not send card content, receipts or passwords. We use the identifier to locate relevant events and may request limited verification where necessary.
Changing Ad Privacy Choices, Apple's tracking permission on iOS, or device advertising controls on Android does not change this analytics preference. Withdrawing analytics consent does not cancel a subscription.
Advertising privacy choices
In the app, open the Settings tab, expand Privacy & support, and select Ad Privacy Choices to revisit the Google consent form when it is available in your region. In iOS Settings, you can also open Privacy & Security → Tracking to change whether apps may request tracking permission. On Android, search device Settings for Ads or Advertising ID to find the available advertising privacy controls; names vary by device and Android version. Changing advertising permissions does not remove access to purchased Pro features.
California and U.S. state opt-out
Google advertising may qualify as sharing or targeted advertising under some state laws. Use the in-app Ad Privacy Choices control and your device's advertising privacy controls to opt out where the control is applicable. You may also email us with the subject “Privacy Opt-Out.”
Access, correction, deletion, and appeal
To request deletion of data associated with Memoraft, email support@memoraft.io with the subject “Memoraft Data Deletion,” describe the data to delete, and tell us the jurisdiction where you live. You can also request access or correction through this address. Because Memoraft has no account system, we may have little data we can reasonably link to you. We may ask for limited information to verify a request and will never ask for your Apple or Google Account password. If we deny a request, you may reply to appeal where applicable.
We delete data we can identify and are not required to retain, including eligible support records and pseudonymous service records. On-device decks and progress must be deleted using Reset all data. AI-usage counters normally expire after about 35 days and Pro-status caches after about five minutes. OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs may remain for up to 30 days. Purchase and security records may be retained to meet legal obligations or prevent fraud; any applicable exception will be explained in our response. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may ask for signed permission, confirmation directly from you, or other legally permitted proof of authority.
